X, formerly Twitter, is currently experiencing a global outage with users unable to access the platforms main timeline. The website and mobile application are displaying ‘Welcome to your timeline’ instead of regular tweets.
User’s tweets on their profile, along with media, likes, replies & media are also not showing.
The cause of this widespread issue is currently unknown, and Downdetector has reported over 7000 incidents of users being unable to use the platform.
There are also over 2 million trending tweets relating to the incident that cannot be fully seen.
