Founded by Gene Williams and his wife—both former college athletes—AU was born from firsthand experience. After transitioning into private coaching, they discovered how rewarding it was to mentor young athletes, but also how challenging it was to manage and scale their growing side hustle. Seeing the need for a dedicated solution, they combined their sports background with tech expertise to build a platform that empowers coaches—much like Airbnb does for homeowners or Rover for dog walkers.
